Wildlife Preview Day

Wildlife Preview Days are designed for any prospective student who has an interest in our Wildlife Biology, Wildlife Rehabilitation, or Pre-Veterinary Medicine programs. Lees-McRae is nationally recognized for excellence in these areas of study, with numerous graduates moving on to careers as animal keepers, animal rehabilitators, primate keepers, veterinarians, wildlife directors, animal service officers, and educators.

During your visit, you will hear from faculty, staff, and students about all of the great opportunities available to you here. Visit our 70-acre Elk Valley Preserve and Field Station and the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, which cares for more than 1,500 injured and sick animals each year. The May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center also features a surgical suite with anesthesia and X-ray machines, where our students prepare for veterinary school. 

Because this event has a limited capacity and is extremely popular, make sure you are fully committed to attending before you register. The preview day will take place in person on our campus.
