Lees-McRae College is proud to offer our annual Scholars Day, hosted by the Honors Program. This event allows any student who has been admitted to the Honors Program a chance to compete for prestigious scholarships. The competition includes writing an essay and interviewing with two members of our faculty.

The Elizabeth McRae Scholarship is the highlighted award for which students compete. Named after the renowned Southern teacher who inspired the Rev. Edgar Tufts, this scholarship covers full tuition for all four years. While this scholarship will replace any other merit aid received, it is still an outstanding scholarship to receive. It will be worth up to $140,000 over the course of four years. Three of these marquee scholarships will be awarded.

In addition, several Distinguished Scholar Awards will also be given to deserving students. These awards are $2,000–$3,000 annually ($8,000–$12,000 over all four years) and are given in addition to any other merit scholarship received.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
